Medical cleansing engineering means to make related rooms clean to meet the medical standards & law. It involves mainly clinical departments and medical detection departments including operation rooms, delivery rooms, ICU, CCU, NICU, PICU, interventional therapy, clinical lab, pathology department, blood transfusion department etc.
Clean rooms means specially engineered room removing micro-particle, harmful gases, bacteria etc, and keeping indoor temperature, cleanliness, indoor pressure, airflow velocity and distribution, noise vibration and lighting, static electricity in a required range. And whatever outside changes the indoor conditions keeps the same as predetermined.
There are four environment classes for different rooms according to average CFU in air and average CFU in object surface. i.e. operation rooms are the first class, and delivery rooms, ICU are second class.
The complete medical clean engineering work involves decoration engineering, heating and ventilation engineering, electric engineering, medical gases engineering etc. Each engineering has strict and professional standards and regulations to follow. For example, for decoration engineering, there are strict requirements for decoration materials, like partition fire resistance limit, no dust generated or accumulated, being anti-microbial, environment protection, anti-collision etc.
